The FAA has made significant progress in improving runway safety at U.S. airports over the past 15 years by working with various members of the aviation community. The FAA plans to build on that success by working with airport sponsors over the next 10-15 years to further reduce runway risks through risk-based decision-making. FAA Posts Second Video in New Safety Information Video Series |
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently posted the second video in the series designed to further enhance airport safety. The video titled "The 2015 Wildlife Hazard Management and Strike Reporting Update," outlines the benefits of wildlife hazard strike reporting and how airport operators use the information to reduce wildlife strikes at airports.
